I had a complete tear and surgery repair on the ligament on the outside of my ankle, something about the squish gives me big problems. My ankle feels like it's on fire and will puff up huge, the zero drop flat/hard shoes are fine 🤷‍♀️. I can't wear traditional running shoes so it's not crocs specific. I think it's an alignment thing, ankles/knees/hips/shoulders...basically shitty dollar store flip flops are some of the best sandals I found 😂
