some of my uploaded images were replaced with this

however others were not. and i don't think the ones that were replaced were any worse than the ones that are still up.

also i'm still able to post new images using nostr.build so they haven't banned me or anything.

i figure they just lost a drive or something ...

they lost 4 images across two posts, and what is even weirder is one of the posts had 3 images in it and only lost 2 out of the 3 ...

this has never happened on Twitter for example. i never had an image disappear like that. it's not the end of the world but it's worth mentioning IMO ...

I don't know exactly how it works but I believe nostr.build has some kind of community moderation and or reporting.

If you want to host your own images id suggest running https://chevereto.com/ it has a really nice UI for managing everything

if i'm reading it right they want me to pay $79 for just the software, for which there will only be 30 days of support and i have to provide my own server.

this is fucking bullshit.

i think i'm paying $10 or $20 a month for my site and that includes the best software ( which updates itself ) and the best hosting and unlimited support forever.

to be honest with you i can host the images on my site and link them here i just don't want to go to prison for child porn - i want the idiots at nostr.build to take the hit instead.

J/K it's not really child porn, but i still would rather not host it on my site, if only for copyright reasons.
