Jax often tells me that I need hearing aids - but have to say I had NO issue very clearly hearing what Ibtihal Aboussad was saying at the ‘Microsoft 50’ Event. None at all. The fact that people are writing that they had no idea that she was protesting the war in Gaza suggests a few alternatives

they just weren’t listening because they don’t anyway

they block out women’s voices

they block out foreign accents

they have no idea that ‘something’ is going on in Gaza, so none of it made sense.

they need hearing aids more than me.
