A lot of people have been asking me what the best combination of relays is or which ones they should use.

Short answer: It’s entirely up to you and the experience you are trying to have on nostr. No one set of relays is perfect for everyone and importantly, if everyone uses one set of relays this greatly diminishes the value of nostr.

Longer advice: Experiment! Add a mix of paid and free relays and then try removing (or turning read off for a specific view) and adding new ones until you find what you seek. As nostr clients continue to improve your ability to configure individual relay settings, this experimentation process will improve.
