Not since I found out only a tiny tiny portion of this gets recycled for real. Most of the stuff ends up being loaded on a container headed for a thirld world country to get burned or dumped so people in the west get to feel better thinking they "recycle" 👿. It's a scam and it's appalling ....
I'm pissed (not at you, at the phenomenon) . Okay fine, glass aluminum or cans only, rest will be pushed to the side (they do advertise to accept Cardboard where im at)
I have been behind recycling trucks from time to time and have a hard time believing they end up actually recycling anything as people put out all manner of trash and plastic bags and liquids that soil everything.
Plastics aren't worth recycling, nor is that waxy coated pizza box in most jurisdictions. Heck, there's even extreme limits on glass where I'm at
