Replying to Avatar GHOST

No offense but not much has changed in the media or at least in part of the media. According to several news outlets people are only trans to win sporting events, go into locker rooms, and peep on people in the bathroom. Some of the tropes have changed but the sentiment is the same.

you're not telling me anything i don't know. they used to and they still do. but, in the 80s/90s there wasn't really any public discourse going on to educate. and springer was all people got. at least now there is a discourse and more education. it's progress. have you seen the #disclosure doc?

sweet. yeah, it's a must watch. great doc about trans representation in the media. from spit takes after kisses to cheap jokes to disturbed serial killers, jerry springer and much more. very relevant to our discussion. highly recommended
