The rich are the last to pay taxes if ever!
The rich pay most of the income taxes, net. At least, in the USA and Germany.
Other taxes, such as sales and sin taxes, disproportionally effect the poor.
But the state is mostly financed through monetary debasement, which is an indirect tax on us all.
No they do not. Well they pay them at first and then they get them back with write offs. They pull the wool over our eyes with that argument very well....
That is also the case with the poor and most of the middle class. The tax returns and transfer payments they receive are higher than their taxes paid, as a group.
That's why most voters don't mind high income taxes: they aren't effectively paying them.
the laundering between large corporations, the government, banks and the fed, is a larger washing machine than we can imagine.
They owe billions in taxes and the poor are hunted for every last penny.
That doesn’t hold up. If you’re rich theres an abundance of ways to avoid tax. If you’re poor, it’s taken from you before you even see your money.
I was clearly writing about how the installation of punitive policies are always justified by attacking the least popular, first.
Nobody starts off income taxes on lemonade stands, censoring kindergarden art, or doxxing homemakers who post lasagne recipes.
But it always ends there.
