All these comments blaming the Jews could not be more off base.
It was an easy procedure for doctors to do, that they could make good money on. They started pushing it in America under the guise it was a cleanliness thing. They profited.

Well… it is not baseless. If you’ve read the Torah you will read that in there. This is a fact, you can validade it rather easily.
Now, the fact that’s being pushed by Jews via health system for a profit, I’m not sure. I don’t doubt it. But I’m not sure.
I was never saying that circumcision isn’t in the Torah. I know that it is. I was saying there isn’t some hidden agenda by the Jews to have everyone circumcised. It’s always been a parent’s choice. Maybe it’s actually been cultural appropriation ;)
I also did not expect “because the Jews” to be a popular response to this question, but there it is.
For the record, I do not support circumcision. I believe it’s genital mutilation. That said, I also cannot support the anti-semitism I see going on around this topic either.
I’m not against the Jews. What I am against is this whining that everything true stated about Jewish religion, culture or practices is “anti-Semitic”.
