Well, he is also helping idiots like me to convert gold to bitcoin. Check btc/xau charts. Besides, I do not really care so much when nor if bitcoin price in usd rises. I am much more interested in further bitcoin adoption, so I could get paid in bitcoin and do shopping in bitcoin. If raising the price helps adoption, so be it.
