flat, wide feet are underestimated. very good at stepping quietly and it's just false that you can't walk as long distances, try 500km in about 10 days
he probably will have wide feet, make sure you get good shoes for him. was almost impossible to find properly fitting shoes for my feet in my childhood, so i was constantly tripping over because of shoes that were low key clown shoes.
