Back in the past public schools didn't teach English, me personally I learned thanks to an uncle that give me the chance to assist in a private school. Now is been quite common in both this past 10 years. Probably is rare now the public school that still don't teach a second language.

I think is good maybe a little bit behind on what private sector teach since there's schools that offer a third one or some other activities that public schools don't offer.
