True, despite all the benefits #Bitcoin offers...using and saving in #Bitcoin in countries, where it is still labeled illegal is still daunting...i guess the best option is to look for Bitcoiners around you in the city you live in and create a circular economy around (because being a lonely Bitcoiner is the hardest thing) + self custody it & then wait for some time as everyone will eventually say yes to #Bitcoin and adapt to it.

It is the bless and curse of being early.
Legislation is changing fast and in my jurisdiction they just decided it is needed to see an exchange from #Bitcoin to fiat as taxable event at the rate of 30% tax.
This changes my planning drastically.
Not that I can't life of it anymore, but I just don't want to pay for a system that treats me as a slave and is now openly talking about building up an army and go to war with Russia.
It just proves again Government is not a trustworthy partner.
The problem is where to go.. ?
same here...the place i live in...trading is any cryptos/bitcoin is a punishable offence according to the national law...however,,,i can sense it that things are changing...people are talking about Bitcoin and slowly getting interested in it...though i believe things will take their natural course of time...i've had friends in Dubai & they say that its a very liberal place to live on bitcoins...however, moving to a foreign places also comes with its own tradeoffs (friends, families, emotional stuffs)...i recommend to lower your time preference and just try to orange pill people around you and create a circular economy, dont hold funds in an exchange and transact peer to peer...If you consider Bitcoin as money, their is not point booking profits and letting the Govt. take their cut. #Bitcoin.
