The Palestinians respond:

“Regarding the official Israeli announcement about the assassination of our beloved Abu Ubaidah, we await the farewell statement from the resistance. The enemy’s notices mean nothing to us.

Remember that before him, great leaders arose — Al-Sinwar, Al-Haniyeh, Al-Daouri, Marwan Issa, Ayman Nofal, Ahmad Al-Jandour, and other senior figures — and the march of the resistance has continued.

Recall that Abu Ubaidah was the one who always ended his words with the phrase: “It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.”

Know that we are a people who, if deprived of one leader, another rises. Loyalty to our leaders is not expressed in grief but in walking their path and completing their mission.”
