That helped, and it attempted to send this time, but the payment failed. When I try to re-send, Zeus gives me a "payment is in transition" error (whatever that means 🤷).
I'll have the recipient generate another invoice in a bit and try again. Third time is a charm, right?
What wallet is the recipient using?

Just generated a fresh invoice and tried sending: payment timed out.
After the timeout error, I always get a "payment is in transition" error. Is this a bug? If a transaction times out, shouldn't I be able to re-transmit the same transaction in hopes that it will get through?
I can pay with on-chain funds, but I'd like to use this opportunity to make my lightning software work better and provide feedback so maybe the error messages can be improved, if nothing else.
The issue is the zombie channel count. Assuming this is an embedded node, you should reset the express graph sync data and restart
