I’d like to see flexible split options where the user can easily adjust percentages. But some preselected options could be good too:

- Damus development (client and relay)

- nostr broader developer base (see list) - vetted names can go here based on some community consensus of who should be included

- everyone involved in development (Damus + others, including relays)

Projects should maybe maintain their own list of dev share. Like a Damus dev wallet would have its own splits. Zap splits could dump some into their

Relays are hopefully monetizing in their own ways. Paid access, storage fees. Maybe the free default relays for a client are part of the zap splits.

Nostr protocol dev would be a good place for splits to go too. A community driven list of people might be a good start. Maybe there’s a more innovative approach, based on contribution.

Thanks for mentioning relays; we need to maintain a robust number of free relays.
