Bitcoin “Affinity Scam” Magazine…?
I respect many of the people who work there and the hard work they do to encourage Bitcoin adoption.
The fact is, they do a lot.
Personally, I don’t care about ordinals.
But a “Bitcoin-only company” promoting and CHARGING MONEY FOR A SERVICE centered around “Beanie-Babies-On-Bitcoin” is very discouraging.
It’s one thing to publish opinions for and against the current thing. That’s responsible journalism.
It’s a whole different ball game when you start accepting plebs’ satoshis in exchange for providing a service.
At that point, the nature of that service matters. The refrain, “it’s just what the market wants” is ultimately BS. People are easy to scam. This doesn’t mean it’s ethical to extract value from them.
