Totally. I’m no spring chicken either. London was great in my youth. Was full of opportunity but agree it’s largely all gone or at least stagnant. I can move to another country but that country is far from ideal too. So I’m left with local options that improve my personal situation (Isle of Man or perhaps more economical places further afield). Or perhaps marry into a different country. 😅
