Releasing Satoshi's Reserve felt like the culmination of my first cycle in Bitcoin.

I found Bitcoin while I was making my 2020 wine vintage, and by the next fall I was so obsessed with bitcoin that the energy poured into my wine.

For the ‘21 vintage, I pulled my favorite single barrel from the cellar and wrote BTC on the boxes even though I had no idea what it would become or if I would ever be able to sell it.

In the 3 years I spent staring at those boxes, Peony Lane went from having the occasional Bitcoin sale to nearly all of its customers being Bitcoiners.

I released Satoshi's Reserve on my first Halving. A fitting end to my first epoch.

It has been amazing seeing how many of you have already opened your bottles, and hearing about the milestones you are waiting for before you do. I did think the people planning to pop it at $1 million would have had their excuse by now, though.

The next vintage of Satoshi’s Reserve is coming very soon, and I wanted to take a moment to say how much I enjoy making wine for Bitcoiners. It gives me a real sense of purpose.
