Just saw this post by Katie (Plan ₿) on X. I don’t feel the need for another passport, so I’m probably not the one to judge. But damn, that’s a lot of corn to give to a government, no matter how nice it is.

Think about it, 1,3 BTC for a Passport if you could have bought BTC for $10 a few years back
I don’t think it is ever about how much you bought it for, but rather how much you currently own.
And if you’ve held on to your corn for over ten years, you don’t spend it on anything unless you really need it.
I guess this stuff is way out of my league to try and wrap my head around it.

There are probably cheaper options if you actually live in the country and do some proof of work, e.g. learn the language.
100%. It’s just being outside of this league makes my mind boggle in regards to someone paying this much money for a piece of paper issued by someone, who’s job is to deceive people 😅
And who are the people selling these pieces of paper? People should be free to go where they want and not restricted by imaginary lines on a map.
