Tanel, all these peeps crushed it and theyâre totally right. Itâs going to take a bit more time and reading and questioning before it might fully click for you like it has for us. (Believe me, it took me longer than i like to admit)
But Iâll add one more perspective/metaphor if I may. Think of Bitcoin for a moment as less of a technology and more as natural law, like the sun âď¸. It rises and sets everyday, guaranteed. Nothing you or I or anyone can do changes that fact. Itâs assured. Morning time the sun comes up, evening it goes down.
Now, someone can come along and create lightbulbs and lamps and all sorts of fun stuff that might light up places where the sun canât reach and shine light where the sun canât. And while you can argue they may have their benefits or not, none of them are ever as guaranteed or consistent as the natural law of the sun.
Someone might invent a better and brighter lightbulb that uses less energy and has more colors or takes up less space. Cool, whatever. Get fancy with that and do your thing if thatâs your vibe. The best money though needs properties that are guaranteed like natural law. Better, faster, brighter, whatever can always be improved upon and changed but it will never be as guaranteed. The sun will rise in the morning and set at night no matter what anyone does. It doesnât care, itâs doing itâs thing.
Humans will live their lives more in sync with the natural laws of the rising/setting of the sun than they will with any lightbulb no matter how sexy or improved you make it.
Also, have you ever been to Finland or Sweden in the winter when thereâs no sun? Oh man it sucks. đ¤đť
Tick tock, next block.
