Americans have somehow decided that if it were legal for 50 year old men to have sex with 15 year old women, suddenly every middle-aged man in the world would use magic powers of brainwashing to turn every young woman on the planet into sex slaves.

This notion can only come from hysteria. There isn't even a smidgen of reality in it

And there is proof. There is LOTS OF EVIDENCE that nothing of the sort ever happens

Lots of societies allow their 15 year olds to choose for themselves if, when, and with whom to have sex

What happens when it is legal for a 15 year old to have sex with any man or woman of any age? ... you guessed it, exactly what happened when you were 15. Most of you and your peers didn't have sex. The few that did almost always chose a partner just a few years older.
