Why does it need to be exponentially higher? (I run a Start9 node by the way).
Nodes are the guardians of the code, not the miners.
Need some better tutorials out there on how to tie ones wallet to your node. I run Bitcoin Core on a laptop. Need low IQ / newb level instruction. We all out of high level techies.
