Dow Falls 150 Points; US Economy Adds 353,000 Jobs In January

The Dow Jones index fell around 150 points on Friday. The NASDAQ rose 0.56% to 15,447.53. The S&P 500 also rose, gaining 0.18% to 4,914.99. U.S. non-farm payrolls increased by 353,000 in January, above the expected 180,000. The unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7%. Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. shares shot up 90% to $4.57. Cingulate Inc. shares dropped 44% to $1.87. GRI Bio, Inc. fell 25% to $1.46 after announcing a $5.5 million public offering. Oil traded down 0.5% to $73.45 while gold traded down 1% at $2,051.00. European shares were higher. Asian markets closed mixed.
