Just finished some initial query support in #nostrdb.
looks like the query performance for {kind: n, limit: 500} over 1 million records is about 1.6 milliseconds.
So if you ran this query every frame, you would still hit 625fps.
Me thinking whenever jb99 will make relay software that powered by nostrdb 🤔🤔

Strfry uses lmdb which nostrdb is based on so we're not far off
nostrdb is a relay at this point
nostrdb query plans are optimized for on-device though. strfry is probably better for public workloads.
