You cannot, that’s the point. I mean it is highly unlikely you will be able to recognize it
Yeah, you usually can't see it, yourself, but everyone can at least retain an air of scepticism. Don't stop drinking one side's kool-aid, just to start drinking the other side's kool-aid.
And assume that there can be surprises or external factors that rapidly change the trajectory of things you were certain to be true.
