Part of the challenge of being on #social media is that I have the belief that every time I step foot onto a platform, it's going to be a fast and easy trip.

Nope.

Opinions flying. Things you can help with. Things to laugh at. Sometimes you can make a difference.

But I have to change a bit how I do this. There's things in the morning I want to accomplish first.

Nostr is a bit complicated, but top devs are working on improving the user experience 🥹

I wasn't referencing this one. I'm still trying to learn my way around, exploring corridors and such. So far, it takes me far less time to get through the feed on this one than some of the others.

Yeh I’m sucked in to too many of them, adding this one. It kinda is my morning, sadly

I just came back from 10 days #logoffoften and felt very good while being away. However returning is encouraging as well.

I know I want to limit my nostr #social usage somehow, but I don't know how exactly.

All I know is that I feel the same as what you describe. Not coming here at all is easy but coming here for a stay which is not longer than what I intended is hard.

All day, I've intended to get to a task I feel is important. All day. I have an hour left of my day. And I here I am.

"I'll just check the notifications. It'll be quick." Then, "I'll just check the latest feed. What can possibly be there?"

HAHAHA.

Because of things I found in the feed, I ended up learning about a slightly new topic, went down one rabbit hole (partially), and ended up backing up my entire password manager with a different one.

I intended on none of those things today.

I don't spend all day on social medias, but I spend quite a bit of time switching between platforms, websites, and communities. Each day is a different.
