It was either a very enthusiastic wave that looked like a Nazi salute, or it was literally a Nazi salute. The real question is whether it was genuine or not. I'm leaning towards the side that Elon is basically just a thread from 4chan brought to life and he's just trolling, but who knows.
It was a very bizarre gesture to do!
