This Nietzsche quote rings true in regards to the transition to a new monetary system. When looking at the past its easy to think that history just happened, but the structures and tools that are now standards all went through their own competitive evolutionary processes.

Sweeping system changes don't just happen. They are an ongoing engineering challenge, and we are at the beginning of a step change in the human value transfer protocol. One day in the future people will look at Bitcoin as if it was obvious, they will think that Satoshi magically invented it and it simply succeeded.

You and me are witnesses to the reality, these changes are a battle.
