2. 20% of EU energy, EUs ENERGY, transits across Niger. After having blown up Nordstream 1 and Nordstream 2, there is no other place to go.

3. Beyond that, it places the French, British and US neocolonial empires into jeopardy. All of Africa is an anti neocolonial powder keg just waiting for the 100th monkey. Niger is probably it.
