Hahaha! I'm still LOL'ing at that one. Trying to be funny for political brownie points game isn't a new concept, but it definitely backfires sometimes (cue the infamous 2016 Hillary Nae Nae). Anyone remembers Al Gore's cringey woo of interviewers with his staple line - "I took the initiative in creating the Internet"? Or recently when Mayor Pete Buttigieg tried his hand Emmys guide-me-home channel little repair bubble? Hence, just stating my opinion here- po*itical humor is a minefield where very few folks make unstinkin' jokes :D
