I’ve never understood the hate for Monero. Bitcoins only flaw is layer 1 privacy especially in this KYC heavy environment, we all know Chainanalysis and KYC is a huge privacy issue and privacy is a huge part of freedom and the Cypherpunk ethos. Monero does well the one thing bitcoin does poorly and that is layer 1 privacy. Does that mean Monero is better and replaces or outperforms bitcoin? ABSOLUTELY NOT, just is a useful tool if you need to do a private transaction that you don’t want to be traceable to you. That’s it, that’s all. Why hate something that enables some privacy?
