Always with intuition & feelings. The mind is too easily tricked & distracted.
I'm very careful in making new agreements (adopting new beliefs).
New information either fits into my current belief framework or it challenges it. If it truly challenges my beliefs, I can't easily dismiss or ignore it. It keeps reentering my consciousness until I accept the challenge & play with it.

Other people, contracts, companies, not all the time. But yes. It happens to everyone.
