there will be relays that censor and people that will use them and be ok with it

bitcoiners understand that good actors are needed for censorship resistance even if they labeled bad actors by the state

to keep your use of nostr relays censorship resistant, the same will be required here

How will we know which ones are censoring? I don't even know if my own events are still all out there and fine.

We need so many tools ...

Relay hints and selections make it hard to censor as long as ypu can follow the hint. Identifying malicious censorship should be pretty easy to identify with set reconciliation tools/bots ("x deleted these events"). Censorship is easily circumvented by the publisher by self-hosting. Honestly less worried about it than I used to be.
