I mean in the sense that as communities begin to reap the benefits of AI, robotics, AR/VR and living not tied to identities built around monetising work and education, pleasure seeking will become the focus for most, if not all people. I am predicting a refresh of the philosophical concept of hedonism where pleasure is the highest good, and a good life is one that is characterised by maximising pleasure and minimising pain and suffering. I am predicting that it will become “fashionable.”
