Receiving zaps via mutiny.plus LNAddress feature has worked well for me. I tried to use nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg for sending zaps in Damus for a few days and gave up.

Mutiny NWC auto approve didn’t work and the manual approval process is painfully slow. The best self custody Damus experience I’ve had is using nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 with my own node. Zaps with Zeus take 1-3 seconds. Zaps with Mutiny take like 10-20 seconds each (if they even go through).

I love the work the mutiny team has done. I just want to give honest feedback on my experiences so far.

We've heard reports that it goes to manual sometimes. Do you have a lightning channel, federation, or both? Do you have balance in the federation and/or lightning channel?

I have both a federation and a lightning channel. I have a balance of more than 10k sats in both. My lightning channel is not from the default LSP. I opened a channel to my Mutiny wallet from my own node and removed the LSP from the server settings page.

Thanks for that info. It's possible it's trying to pay out of that before it's ready, then fails and kicks back to manual. We will look into it.

Zaps are slower on Mutiny for me too compared to when I used my own node, I just figured that's the cost of the LSP

I’m not using the LSP. I think the cause is some other tradeoff. I wonder if it’s route finding related.
