It was my pop's birthday 2 weeks ago. He's an unreachable guy in a hard to get to place. But I made some calls and put the word out 'happy birthday pops".

Looks like last night he left a voice memo (2 weeks later). He got my message.

The man is now 80 y/o and spends his days doing what he used to do as a hobby on the weekends.

Growing food for his friends and neighbors, and caring for animals. He would be insulted if they offered to pay him for anything he's gifted them.
