USB-C is so dang complicated, but, I think we're finally getting to the point where basic understanding and functionality are coalescing.
Do you need a USB-C cable they costs over $100? Most likely, you do not. However, this article is a good reminder that you do get what you pay for and this old saying still applies, even to something as simple as a USB-C cable.
