As disgusting as they are, I would never harm another's 'loved' one.
They have an advantage in this aspect over wild ones

I used to kill em when I saw em (salt) on my porch and whatnot, but I truly cannot bring myself to do it anymore. I take em across the street and throw em in the grass over there.
