My node is what validates transactions not miners.
Governments and banks did not embrace it until fairly recently. Why the change? One perspective is they figured out how to take advantage of it. Another perspective is that they realized it’s not going away and they are incentivized to make money off it. People are driven more by incentives than anything else.
