It’s two separate things. You can tell alby your nost keys so it can access dm’s and make posts etc., and then you can make a lightning address in alby too

idk what client you on but on iris.to you just add your alby address (e.g. for me it's matata@getalby.com) in the slot which says add ln address (lud-16)
I'm on Iris right now. Even if I'm not verified? Like put my npub@getalby.com??
verification is a seperate thing - you can ignore that for now while you try and make zapps happen
i set-up my alby account through https://getalby.com (this process has little to do with nostr npub also)

you setup both separately
you integrate them together after through features offered in either Nostr/Alby extension settings
