Cant stop someone from viewing your feed or responding, unless the client they are using and others are using implements that.

This is where I expect relays will also need to be involved - whether to forward certain messages or not. And from there whether accept / reject responses on certain notes.

Clients should eventually be smart enough to look at the public blocklist of Alice and not render notes from Bob if Alice blocks Bob.

Yes, but I am also certain this behavior of sending all of the messages to all of the network will not persist long term. Relays will eventually start filtering... refusing to route or provide information.

I don't see that this can be exclusively done on clients also because users will not use clients that limit them.

knew you were never going to kill this nym sir

you just want to believe in that... would miss me too much if I was completely gone

Can’t you always view someone’s feed/posts if you log in with their pubkey?

Of course, same with twitter really.

👀

awesome

Would it ever be possible to limit dms to a whitelist? Aka people you follow could be the whitelist for your dms? Or is that not possible for individuals.

Everything is possible

Yes this will be a thing. Strangers will go to message requests

Same as Apple and iMessages. Known senders and others. Works for sms/iMessages.
