Calling doggie coin "doj coin" was an attack on its name recognition. Even with the creators of the coin in on the scheme, it still failed because I still call it "doggie coin" and the people I'm talking to always know what I mean.
Or maybe the planners of this attack knew it would only buy them time, in which case it was a success
