Spent the afternoon dressing the garden with compost and covering strawberries for winter. Helpers were having more fun than they wanted to admit.
Also made the last cutting of rhubarb for a strawberry rhubarb pie soon. 😋

Nice - I've just put some strawberry plants in that my mates given me on the new allotment plot I've got and another mate suggested adding some straw around the base of them but is it a better idea to simply cover them over? She also told me that Rhubarb needs to grow for two seasons before you eat it which was disappointing 😞
I just cover the strawberries for winter and rake it off in the spring to let new growth get sun.
