Isn't that why folks are worried about WoS, along with the possibility of getting rugged (By Apple removing the app from phones, not WoS itself)

And why are folks still using and supporting apple anyways? Yall didn't see this coming after what happened to damus?

Yes strike is kyc 😔 but i am already using it. Not ideal but its a working solution. I can't get zeus working and I'm not so comfortable with alby. Haven't ventured into stacker and need to look I to lntips

Also not sure what ur talking abt supporting Apple? I don't use apple anything. My recieve wallet was wos. The issue imo is if wos is out of the appstore and something happens where the app is lost, it'll be a hell of a time trying to get it back. I tried doing a recovery early days on a separate device and wasn't able to get it working. I could easily recover on same device... but if the app is not on appstore it becomes a pain to recover. I guess you could sideload the apk... but I'm not looking to make my life more complicated.

Explain to me how I am using apple in any way? I'm on an android phone running amythest with zaps out through mutiny and zaps in thru strike.

If you are Droid, generally the app will stay on your phone until you remove it...

And we all know you shouldn't be keeping anything SUBSTANTIAL in custodial wallets anyways...

I guess I'm not seeing the WHY as a Droid user yourself and knowing it's not wise to keep substantial amounts of bitcoin in a custodial wallet, as to why you are making things complicated for your trying to change wallets to begin with?

Because it's worth exploring potentially better options.

I used wos for a long time because it was easy. Yes the risk of custodial rug was always there.

But with this added risk vector, I find it prudent to be better safe than sorry, at least until we get some sort of communication from wos as to what's going on.

It's one thing to sail on a boat with a "shoot me" sign on the sails on the open ocean. It's another to stay on that same boat when potential pirates are on the horizon.
