The more I reflect on the people I’ve met that work for NGO’s, the more disdainful I become
An air of self-important martyrdom often pervades the conversation
“I am doing it for them”, “or I love this work for the impact”
Some kind of selfless veneer
But when you dig into how it is all financed, via central banks, and the largest socialist programme ever undertaken
It’s obviously such miss-placed martyrdom
They do more damage than good
And if they really cared, more than what they can tell their friends in the pub, or to get past the miss-incentive of being paid to be like that
They would ask “what is money”
Nauseating selflessness that is totally counterproductive
Wake up!
