We found this strange piece of stone (?) on a walk in a dry river bed yesterday.
Any idea what it is?
Human made? Animal made?
I've never seen anything like it before.

I don't know but looks like a washed brick stone. Or perhaps limestone? Looks awesome!

Wow. that looks like a very large and fossilized version of our mud wasp nests. (Not saying that's what it actually is! That's just what comes to mind for me.)
