I just used ai to tell me how to run a single use coffee maker in a hotel. Hadn't seen it before.

Did I get smarter or dumber?

I reckon that technology and infrastructure is becoming simpler to operate but less intuitive from a user perspective. You probably saved time to think about other things and got smarter
