Someone probably said it was a bad idea in a meeting, and the manager disagreed saying itās a good idea. But when time came to can someone, the one who said it was a bad idea likely got the boot. š„¾
yeah, the fact that most tech companies are run by MBA grads has led to massive enshitification across the board. Glad they did a 180 on this terrible idea.

Great that customers were able to impact sales of new devices so that Synology responded.
