Start discussing big ideas, and people will laugh. No one takes important matters seriously anymore. Philosophy? They laugh. Responsibility? Laughter. Health, morals, science... all dismissed with a laugh. The only concern seems to be how to make a lot of money, just to spend it and chase more pleasure.
