Something that can never be taken for granted. I did my first photocopy zine in 1988/87 and I learned a lot from that process. Back then I wanted digital publishing so badly. Eventually I found people smarted than me who help our product become much better.
The tools we have now are so amazing but still I see published material that is difficult to read. Bitcoin Magazine in print is a great example. Someone sent me a free copy and I still can't read some of it. But in the late 1980s there was a New York zine called Chemical Imbalance that had lots of wacky layouts that were still easy to read. Maximum RocknRoll was another great design zine.
